Biography
Jennifer
Brundige is member of the Luna Law Group, PLLC. Her practice includes the areas
of regulatory and environmental law, civil litigation, and government relations.
Ms. Brundige received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in 1993 and her Juris Doctor degree, with highest honors, from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2000. While at the University of Tennessee, she was Research Editor for The Tennessee Law Review, a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society and Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, and graduated Order of the Coif.
Prior to beginning her legal practice, Ms. Brundige served as a law clerk to the Honorable James D. Todd, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. From 1993 through 1994 she worked as a Tennessee field representative for Senator Jim Sasser. In 1996, she served as Director of Scheduling for the Tennessee Democratic Coordinated Campaign. In 1997, she served as Director of the Tennessee Political Desk for Vice President Al Gore for the Presidential Inaugural Committee. From mid-2001 until early 2003, she was an associate with Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, PLLC.
Ms. Brundige served as the Chair of the 2004 Environmental Law Committee of the Nashville Bar Association. She is a member of the Environmental Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association and of the Section of Environment, Energy and Resources of the American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Harry Phillips Chapter of the American Inn of Court. Ms. Brundige serves as President of the Board of Directors of Generation TN. Brundige was appointed in January 2008 to the Tennessee State Board of Accountancy by Governor Phil Bredesen. In August 2007, her appointment by then-Mayor Bill Purcell to the Metropolitan Nashville Transportation & Licensing Commission was confirmed by the Metro Council and she was reappointed in 2008 to a new term by current Mayor Karl Dean.
